The event attracted participants from more than 75 countries, including energy producers, utility companies, consultants, and industry leaders, making it one of the year's most essential conferences for the hydropower sector. 

With the theme "Secure Technology for Turbulent Times," HYDRO 2024 addressed current issues in hydropower, dam engineering, and pumped storage through 30 in-depth technical sessions. Attendees benefited from insightful discussions led by distinguished speakers covering a wide range of topics: the potential of hybrid and pumped storage plants, grid stability, environmental protection, the challenges of energy transition, risk management, project financing, and the latest technological innovations. The conference provided an invaluable platform for exploring the industry's future, positioning hydropower as a crucial component in achieving global renewable energy goals.
