ANDRITZ to supply three aluminum alloy process lines to Shandong Nanshan Aluminum, China
Shandong Nanshan Aluminum Co., Ltd, China has entrusted international technology group ANDRITZ with the supply of two continuous heat treatment lines (No. 3 and No. 4) and one continuous process treatment line (No. 4) to produce aluminum and aluminum alloy sheets for the automotive and aerospace industries at its mill in Longkou, Shandong.
The ANDRITZ scope comprises engineering, equipment supply, supervision of erection, and commissioning of the complete lines, including the electrical and automation equipment. Start-up will take place in 2025.
This order strengthens the good and long-standing relationship between ANDRITZ and Shandong Nanshan Aluminum. “The ANDRITZ well-proven technology, focusing on excellent aluminum process lines, and the extensive local network of experts and service specialists in China were key factors why ANDRITZ received the order from Nanshan,” said Wang Tao, Director of the Nanshan production plant.
