ANDRITZ has had its IPC (Industrial Personal Computer) solution as the industrial control equipment for our needlepunch lines since 1990.
Due to the increasing technical demand, ANDRITZ implemented the successor system to IPC – the ANDRITZ Microbox – in new needlepunch systems as from 2012.
The ANDRITZ Microbox has several advantages compared to the IPC solution – the most important being that it enables you to benefit from the ANDRITZ Remote Access Service.
Spare part support for the IPC solution will finally come to an end as of July 2020.
We are sorry about this termination as IPC has been a reliable system for many years. However, this technology is now outdated and spare part support is no longer possible.
If you have not already converted your needlepunch line to the ANDRITZ Microbox, please contact your ANDRITZ Service Account Manager in the next few days.
