Through the acquisition of ÅPS ANDRITZ strengthen the workshop capacity which is an important resource boost. The facilities are situated at Jungmansgatan 17 in Norrköping and comprises of 3000 m2 workshop space with integrated office. The asset acquisition of ÅPS from Thomas Harling, was finalised on 2017-12-20. ANDRITZ's acquisition covers all workshop machinery, assembly equipment, material stores, historical projects and drawing archives.
ÅPS Combustion AB's operations were terminated after the take-over and the company name no longer exists. All machines, equipment, storage and archives are moved to ANDRITZ premises. The transition period is planned so that production continues without interference; scheduled finish date is the end of March 2018. This spring, ANDRITZ and Thomas Harling will contact ÅPS customers to provide information about the change, as well as make new contacts for the future.
