The ANDRITZ TurboMix is a horizontal agitator suitable for all types of fluid materials and for mixing/storage purposes. Due to its hydraulically optimized propeller blades and our experience designing pulp chests, we can deliver the ideal solution for effective agitating.
The agitator provides highest process flexibility due to its adjustable blade angles and can also be adapted to handle a wide range of motors. The belt drive and universal guard allow flexible adaptation to any later system modification. An additional benefit is that the stuffing box and mechanical seal can be maintained without having to drain the chest.
TurboMix agitator
Alternative propeller shapes are available for pulp and paper applications such as couch pit, high-consistency pulp storage, or highly contaminated furnish. ANDRITZ TurboMix agitators are available in six sizes, featuring installed power from 5.5 kW up to 132 kW.
