The technology and intellectual property assets of a Swedish pioneer in shredding and recycling machinery – Franssons Recycling Machines AB – have been acquired by ANDRITZ. Franssons, located in Sundsvall, Sweden, has been supplying industrial shredding and recycling technologies for handling waste, wood, biomass, plastic, paper, and board for 70 years, with many references around the globe. The proven products and solutions of Franssons are now part of ANDRITZ’s Recycling product group (part of the Pulping and Fiber Systems Division of ANDRITZ PULP & PAPER) and complement ANDRITZ’s other offerings in recycling – extending from recycling refrigerators and electronic waste, to processing rejects for the pulp and paper industry.
