International SOS Assistance App

Assistance App – after arrival

1. Keep your mobile-phone number always up-to-date (emergency support)

The Assistance app is connected to the ANDRITZ Group global Travel Risk Communication and crisis management tool (TRICO). TRICO uses the e-mail address and mobile-phone number stored in the user profile of the app. This is why you need to ensure to always keep your correct mobile-phone number up-to date (E.g. you use a local SIM card in your destination country; once you travel home you have to change it back to your mobile-phone number of your home country.). To check/update your mobile-phone number go to “Profile”=> "Contact Details" => “Type of Number” => "Mobile". This is the number ANDRITZ will use to contact you in an emergency.

Include international country dialing code preceded by a „+“  (e.g. + 43 for Austria, + 1 for US, + 62 for Indonesia)

2. Location Based Alerts – receive immediate information and advice about major incidents near your current location

The app can inform you via push notification about major incidents (Protests, terror attack, taxi strike, adverse weather conditions, airport closures, epidemics, etc.) and provide you initial advice on how to deal with the situation. This is called location based alerts. Watch the next video on how to activate this service.

For basic information (first steps) and video support about the app go to this site.
